I purchased this CDG and DVD for my 9 year old granddaughter along with a karaoke machine for Christmas. She has not stopped playing it since then!

I agree with the prevous person who was disappointed by the lack of lyrics. My daughter also loves Taylor Swift but does not know the words to all of her songs. She used a gift card she received for Christmas to buy this, and needless to say, we were both bummed. Even the DVD that is included lacks her (or ANYONE!) singing her lyrics. The backup vocals are on the DVD but it just wasn’t what we expected.

This was part of a Christmas gift to Grand-daughter. She was thrilled to have it and did indeed sing along.

Happy with the songs in this album are appropriate for young girls.

It’s pretty neat to have the music videos (minus Taylor’s vocals) for some of the songs so that you can basically sing as if you were Taylor Swift. Not all of the songs have the music video versions, though. The main problem we’ve had is that most of the CD+G versions of the songs do not function correctly. The lyrics don’t line up properly and don’t disappear when they should so you end up with a bunch of stacked-up lines of words that you can’t read. We sent the first product back but the second one does the same thing. We decided to keep it and just use the music video versions, which do work fine.

If you’re not familiar with karaoke disks, beware! Taylor Swift’s voice is nowhere on either of the included disks. If your daughter wants to listen to Taylor Swift songs on her karaoke machine or DVD player, look elsewhere. These only have music, written lyrics, and any background vocals.
